Personal Project

Today's smartphones generate an endless stream of media, keeping people constantly engaged and triggering dopamine releases. These small, black devices often feel like dopamine monsters. People treat their phones as precious possessions, feeling anxious when they're out of reach or when the screen isn't on. Gradually, it seems like smartphones are becoming almost god-like in our lives. Inspired by how ancient ancestors used stone or clay to create sacred figurines symbolizing their deities, I reimagined this concept by creating a modern-day dopamine idol—a reflection of our evolving relationship with technology.
